Rose Garden History

In the summer of 1969, 45 German guests visited Frankenmuth. During this time, the Memorial Park’s Rose Garden was dedicated to the people of Gunzenhausen. The Rose Garden conveys a sense of pride and sincerity in maintaining the genuine link of friendship that the City feels for Gunzenhausen, and the gratitude felt for the early pioneers who settled here. This sentiment is still strong today.
