Frankenmuth responds to Governor Whitmer's Stay Safe, Stay Home Order

In accordance with the Governor’s recent executive order, the City of Frankenmuth is adjusting its operations to comply and still continue to provide expected services. City offices will be closed to the public. Certain building and other inspections that can be delayed or postponed will be delayed. Work that can be postponed and requires staff to enter a dwelling, such as changing a meter, will be postponed.

It is anticipated that the City and Township’s trash and recycling services will continue at this time. Yard waste pick up for City residents begins April 1.

We have reduced staff operating our Public Works, Water and Water Resource Recovery Facilities. Full crews are available and standing by should there be an emergency such as a water main break or storm damage.

The City will be manning the main phone during normal working hours. With reduced staff not all questions will be able to answered quickly. We appreciate your understanding. Police and Fire service will continue uninterrupted.
