Craemer Drive & Court Road Resurfacing- Scrap Tire Project
Throughout the month of May, the City of Frankenmuth will be resurfacing Craemer Drive and Craemer Court. This project will be utilizing 1,525 scrap tires as part of an environmental sustainability initiative. The completed surface will look and feel just like any other new road- and through the initiative’s grant project, the City’s taxpayers are paying 25% less than the traditional cost of repaving a road. In addition to resurfacing, drainage improvements will also be installed, extending the life and quality of the new road.
During the repaving process, mail delivery and trash pickup will continue uninterrupted.

Other Items to be Aware Of:
Sprinkler Systems: Homeowners should locate and mark irrigation lines, as well as sprinkler heads. Any irrigation systems that are damaged during the construction will be replaced.
Parking: Pink paint in an area means that the curb, gutter, and/or sidewalk will be removed and replaced. This work will restrict some residents’ vehicles access to their driveways. Contractors will notify the affected homeowners ahead of time, and work with them to relocate vehicles.
